Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ipinag-utos na bigyan ng P20,000 ayuda ang mga manggagawang nagkaroon ng kapansanan dahil sa kanilang trabaho. Ito ay ayun sa kany4ng pinirmahan na Administrative Order No. 39 nitong Lunes, April 19 2021. Ang one-time f1nancial assistance para sa employee’s compensation pensioners ay mapapakinabangan ng humigit 31,000 pensioner ng SSS at GSIS. “The ECC is hereby authorized to grant one-time f1nancial assistance of P20,000 to EC pensioners permanent partial d1sab1lity, permanent lost disability and survivorship in the private and public sectors, subject to the availability of funds and pertinent l4ws, rules and regulations,” ani pa ng AO na nilagdaan ng Pangulo. Ayon sa pag-aaral, kaya umanong tustusan ng SIF o Social 1nsurance Fund ang one time f1nancial assistance, at hindi umano ito makakaapekto sa pondo para sa mga miyembro ng SSS at GSIS.

Inatasan rin ng Pangulo ang ECC,SSS at GSIS na maglaan ng pondo para sa P20,000 ayuda sa ilalim ng employees compensation program.
